    Celebrating 75 Years at St Raymond-Our Lady of Good Counsel

October 22, 2017, we celebrated 75 years that out Parish has responded to the request for help from those in need.  Men and Women known as as Vincentians have volunteered their time and talents in service to others.  We are also celebrating the 450 families that have received help with food, clothing, budget counseling, bill payment assistance and more. Our St Vincent de Paul St Raymond Conference has paid out more than $17,000 in other needs and with the help of DTE grants, processed almost a quarter of a million dollars ($240,000) in energy bill assistance this year alone.

None of this could have been done without the commitment of our Parish since 1942 when Fr Hogan requested that a St Vincent DePaul Conference be started. As our Parish Conference re-commits ourselves to responding to the needs of our neighbors, we ask our Church to continue the commitment made 75 years ago.
